Masonry Dog House/Porch?

My guys looked at me crazy when I first mentioned the idea of building a masonry dog house/porch at my house. None of them had ever heard of it and when I did a google image search I couldn't find anything on them so apparently, we're the first! I like being first.

So we installed a power receptacle (aka outlet) to power a vintage analog heating pad that heats the inside and a nightlight that I control from the same switch as my porch light. How convenient!

We then went to work and I think it turned out brilliantly.

I still have a few touch ups to do but was too anxious to make this page...

His doggie door has a magnet that keeps the flap closed and I secured it with industrial strength velcro in case I have to get in there to do anything. I haven't had any issues with him knocking it off. It works great.

His dog house is "2 Bedrooms". We insulated the side walls and ceiling and then I put in a foam pad bed with carpet to wipe his feet off first. haha, it's awesome! He's a very spoiled and happy dog.

If you'd like one at your house give us a call. This one would be around $7,000 but could be much less depending on materials and which bells and whistles you want.
